Duelco seeks strong profile for sales manager position

In a market characterized by change and exciting new opportunities, as a supplier of components and solutions for the industrial segment, we are extremely busy and would like to strengthen our competent sales team with a customer-oriented Sales Manager.

We are therefore looking for a sales manager who, after a relatively short period of time, is self-sufficient, both as head of the team and in relation to their own accounts.

You will head the industrial team, which consists of an external sales engineer and back-office functions. You will be responsible for the team's overall sales efforts towards a number of accounts, primarily in Denmark, and ensure that customers experience us as a committed and trustworthy partner with an eye for the big picture. 

We offer a wide range of quality products and total electrical engineering solutions for industry from some of the world's best brands. In addition, we offer in-house manufactured products based on 30 years of experience with industry demand.

In close collaboration with the Product Manager, you will have a decisive influence on the product range and contact with our suppliers. This collaboration also includes the development of own-produced products.

You'll get to influence everything from big to small in a team of dedicated team players who are used to helping each other. Expect some travel in connection with customer visits and trade fair activities, primarily in Denmark.

You will be a key player in the Duelco leadership team.

Tasks:   

  • Sales and personnel management of the Industry team.
  • Retain and serve existing customers at the same high quality level as before.
  • Responsible for developing the Industrial segment, including prospecting, visiting and making sales to new and existing customers in collaboration with the rest of the team.
  • Preparation of action plans for sales, including setting goals, budget, KPIs, etc.
  • Responsible for the management and development of own customers and thus an essential part of the team's overall portfolio.
  • In collaboration with the Product Manager, devise and put together value-adding ideas, proposals and solutions for our customers.
  • Support team members in quoting, following up and closing sales.
  • Participation in trade fairs at home and abroad.

Requirements for you: 

  • You must be passionate about both sales and leadership, and have an infectious drive to achieve both team and personal goals.
  • Ideally, you have a background and experience from jobs in or related to the industrial sector.
  • You may have already worked in sales management, or you should have ambitions to do so.
  • You are technically minded - ideally you have a degree in electrical engineering.
  • You are structured and focused in your approach to tasks, able to keep many balls in the air at once - but don't lose your footing if the plan suddenly changes.
  • You are a good relationship builder and know how to communicate at all levels with straightforward and understandable language.
  • You must have good IT skills and be fluent in written and spoken Danish and English.
  • You are a team player but can also work independently.
