Cooling and dehumidification
Soliterm Peltier
Duelco offers cooling units and dehumidifiers based on the "Peltier" effect, derived from the name of its inventor.
When DC voltage is applied, Peltier elements generate a temperature difference which, in combination with heat sinks and active ventilation, causes cooling inside the enclosure. The waste heat is dissipated into the environment via a separate heat sink.
Peltier devices operate without refrigerant, have no compressor and no pressure circuit, so they can be installed in almost any position.
However, condensation management must be considered separately.
Indoor & outdoor
Soliterm Peltier units can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications, and the thermoelectric cooling units are resistant to extreme ambient conditions and can operate even in very dusty or oily environments.
Operating temperature range is -20°C to 70°C. The classification is IP 66 or NEMA/UL Type 4X.
With cooling capacities from 30 W up to 800 W and available AC and DC models, they cover a wide range of cooling applications for the industrial sector.
