Team leader for warehouse

If you’d like to help develop our warehouse operations and are passionate about streamlining and improving procedures and workflows, you might be just the person we’re looking for.

At Duelco, we are looking to strengthen our warehouse team with a day-to-day manager who will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of new work and business processes, as well as serving as the daily focal point and link between the warehouse department and the rest of the company. The team currently consists of two employees with extensive knowledge and experience.

With our customers placing ever-greater demands on speed and agility, it is important to us that our warehouse keeps pace with these developments and, ideally, goes a step further by taking a proactive approach both externally and internally.

As a team leader, you must ensure that all orders and agreements are fulfilled and that the customer is always the focus at the right time and place.

The tasks are:

• Work with the rest of the team to ensure that the flow of goods from receipt to shipment is handled in an efficient, traceable, and organized manner
• Ensure proper inspection of incoming goods and ensure proper inspection of outgoing shipments
• Work with the rest of the organization to develop and implement new, relevant procedures and warehouse layouts
• Ongoing updating and review of existing safety regulations, occupational health and safety policies, and quality standards

Requirements for you:

• You have solid experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or production—preferably from a similar position
• Experience with staffing planning, task allocation, and day-to-day
  operations
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP systems (Business Central
  , or similar)
• Knowledge of LEAN (5S, etc.)
• You must have a forklift operator's license
• You are organized and focused in your approach to tasks and are able to juggle many things at once—but you don’t lose your footing if plans suddenly change
• You are skilled at building relationships and know how to interact effectively at all levels using clear and straightforward language. You must be fluent in spoken and written Danish
• You must possess a strong personal drive combined with a cheerful, infectious attitude when it comes to implementing your ideas and decisions
• You are a team player, but you can also work independently
