HQSE Manager

If you want to help develop and create a solid foundation for Duelco's future growth, anchored in applicable ISO standards and established procedures and quality assurance, read on. 

We are looking for an HQSE manager who can take responsibility for the further development of our organization in order to continue to comply with applicable standards and legislation.

We are already well on our way and are certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. But we are not there yet, and there are a number of tasks ahead involving the implementation of procedures, control, and follow-up within quality assurance, the environment, safety, and sustainability.

As HQSE manager, you will therefore be responsible for operating already implemented standards and procedures and taking us further forward – this includes ISO 27001, including ensuring our measures within information security and physical security.

You will play a central role in the organization, interacting with all departments at Duelco as well as our external partners. You will be an important player in our efforts to always consider the big picture and achieve our common goals. This means a working day where you will have influence on everything from large to small matters, as well as on a team of dedicated team players who are used to helping each other.

Your base will be the office in Aalborg.

The tasks are:

• Develop and update documentation for ISO standards (9001 and 14001)
• Responsibility for implementation of ISO 27001 (light)
• Responsibility for implementing EQ - Advanced
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Duelco's processes and procedures, including preparing/conducting internal and external audits
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to minimize risks
• Develop and implement strategies for sustainable development and responsible consumption, including engaging employees in the various projects
• Responsible for training, compliance with legislation, and reporting on the above areas of responsibility
• Maintain a constant focus on optimizing and improving Duelco's processes

Requirements for you:

• You are proactive and persistent in your approach to implementation, follow-up, data collection, and reporting.
• With your excellent negotiation and communication skills, you can motivate and drive processes both internally and externally.
• You have practical experience and have worked with the implementation of ISO and quality processes and procedures.
• An electrical engineering degree and the technical understanding and insight that comes with it would be a plus.
• You are structured and focused in your approach to tasks and are able to juggle many balls in the air at once – but you don't lose your footing if the plan suddenly changes.
• You constantly focus on what creates value for all parties and can cut through and make adjustments if this is not the case.
• You are a good relationship builder and know how to communicate at all levels with straightforward and understandable language.
• You must have an understanding of IT and be fluent in written and spoken English. You are a team player, but can also work independently.
